Aluminum Trim Work
Coverage or trim work includes areas such as window and door surrounds, rakes, arches and fascia board. The coverage that we apply at J&J Home Improvement is made out of aluminum coil and is custom bent to fit the exact proportions of a home. Coverage is bent and configured on a large tool called a brake. The brake enables us to cut and bend the aluminum for a perfect fit to cover your trim work, adding both beauty and longevity. The brake is a hard tool to master, and is one of the things we pride ourselves in at J&J. Some contractors compensate lack of knowledge on the brake by simplifying coverage work. For example, our windows are covered to resemble 'picture frames' with many bends and dimensions, as opposed to flat coverings just to cover existing wood work.
